I’m as big a fan of before and after pics as anyone. My favorite is the Sunnyvale dead lawn transformed to raised paver patio. It seems like so much a better use of the small space.
Deva
Thank you Deva. Yes, that was my first time designing a “raised paver” patio and I think it makes such a big difference! Small spaces are always a fun challenge because you have to think carefully about each square foot. That is why I offer 3-D drawing now so that clients can see what it will look like before we break ground.
Julie O.: I’m “with” Ms Deva … befores/afters always fascinating, your’s no exception.
That “corner” lot one looks a little “familiar” to me …. hmmmm?
Know you have a firm/crew you work with quite often and from the looks of the pics
as applies to “installation”, don’t blame ya’.
Nice pics, sound designs, can tell you ain’t quite a “rookie” at this gig.
Thanks Jim. Many kudos to SouthBay Landscaping for really going the extra mile to make the client 200% happy…they make me look good! Actually this is not a corner lot, but I think you might have driving by when you were in the neighborhood with Dale one day.
Nice pictures, great transformations. It would be *very* helpful to include costs (hardscape and plants) in these transformations. Some look quite a bit pricier than others, but I know looks can be deceiving.
Hi Edith, you are right that hardscape is expensive. In the photos that I shared the more pricey items were: custom water feature, custom concrete ped path, stone veneer on raised wall, outdoor kitchen and redwood arbor.
